What’s all of the global drama about renewable energy and carbon emissions? Well, it’s like this: we want to preserve the environment for our children and enjoy a cleaner life while we are here. While some people debate the amount of man-made causes vs. natural cycles that are producing climate change, we are certain of this: pollution is affecting our quality of life and we need to take action. This includes the goal of reducing our dependence on fossil fuels for economic and environmental reasons. We believe we can make a difference by changing our habits that will make a difference today and in the future. Renewable Energy Certificates represent one way of investing money in renewable energy projects such as solar and wind power. Unlike traditional energy sources, from coal or natural gas, renewable energy does not produce harmful emissions or pollute. Think about purchasing RECs when you travel, or when you pay your electric bill. Consider buying them to offset the impact your lifestyle has on the environment, whether it’s driving your car or using appliances. Help us work together to clean up the planet.
